About

Resilience Center was co-founded by Annette Clark, Brandy Brown, and Elizabeth Sarkaria with a shared vision to develop a comprehensive, family-centered, high-quality mental health practice for our community.

The COVID-19 pandemic—and the difficult dynamics it has brought—reinforced our desire to start Resilience Center in 2021.

Resilience is the “ability to withstand adversity and bounce back from difficult life events”. We are committed to helping patients overcome obstacles, adapt in the face of stressors, and build resiliency.

Our logo of stacked stones with a vine symbolizes resilience in several ways. Stacked stones have been used commonly in Zen gardens as they highlight the harmony and balance of our place in the world. Stacked stones have also been used for a long time to signify you are on the right track. They have been markers used to guide others to the correct path or trail in cases where navigation becomes difficult, and the trail may be easily lost. They provide guidance, direction, and a message of peace and hope. Additionally, vines that spring up and thrive through rocks and terrain can at times grow beautiful flowers that exhibit what was hiding all along.

Resilience Center

At Resilience Center, we strive to provide help and healing for children, adolescents, and adults through a variety of therapeutic interventions.

We recognize life has many challenges and experiences that individuals and families need to work through in a supportive environment. Our team will use a compassionate and multi-disciplinary approach to evaluate needs and provide evidence-based interventions to meet each individual and family where they are and journey with them to emotional wellness.

Resilience Center has a team of highly trained professionals who make it a priority to establish therapeutic relationships to best serve our patients.
